Kiing Sequence.

A true trailblazer, Belfast’s Kiing Sequence is at the beating heart of Ireland's Afro-fusion scene. As both an artist and entrepreneur he weaves a musical tapestry, blending Afro sounds with hints of drill, dancehall, and Caribbean beats. Beyond the rhythms, his lyrics challenge norms, addressing mental health, masculinity, and identity. From subtle melodies to bold bass, his music captivates with a fusion of genres. Teaming up with fellow Belfast artist Becky McNeice in 2024, the pair set about adding a club element to his sound on the track 'STAY RIGHT?'.

The development continues on new release 'M25', a more restrained release that once again reflects the trials and tribulations he has faced across his life. With the title a nod to the UK motorway, the song is about letting go of toxic relationships and taking back your power. It's a message that says 'don't disturb me, I've moved on' and celebrates the freedom that comes with leaving the past behind. With the lyric "me and my guys just cruise the M25", the song captures the feeling of breaking free and finding your way again.

Kiing Sequence’s music has made an impact on streaming (playlists include ACS, Fresh Finds, Just Dropped and New Music Friday), TikTok and sync – with the Afropop anthem ‘Shine’ featured on the soundtrack for the third season of ‘Atlanta’ – and has collaborated with many of the key names in the Irish / UK scenes, including LukeFly, Sello, Headie One and Jordan Adetunji.
