DeCarteret.

Selected as one of District Magazine’s Future Of Irish Music 2023 artists (alongside the likes of Curtisy, Moio and Qbanaa), DeCarteret is a short lady from County Clare Ireland, who likes to make lo-fi beats and classical music. Sometimes she makes other things such as neo-soul, indie, folk and R&B and sometimes she draws too. Sometimes she dances but she’s not great at it, she misses the countryside and her favourite colours are brown, blue, green, purple (she can never decide).

Having released her debut project cumming & crying on the bathroom floor last year - a record themed around the good and bad side of childhood reminiscences – she now introduces you to her world in 2024 with her upcoming EP To The West, which will will chronicle the journey of returning to her home in the west of Ireland. Having worked with producers Chameleon and 1000 Beasts on her two singles this year - 'MYAEROPLANE' and 'pray for you' - she has made an impact both at home and internationally and now presents the third and final single from the project. Recorded and produced with multi-instrumentalist Sam Healy, 'tustfcked' features guest vocals from Cuban Irish artist Qbanaa - with whom she has performed on a number of occasions.
